# Getting Started

Welcome to Mobipurse! :wallet: Your one-stop wallet solution for accepting payments from customers anywhere in the world.

## What is Mobipurse?

Mobipurse is a universal wallet platform that enables merchants to accept payments from customers across any country. With Mobipurse, you can seamlessly debit customers and manage all your transactions from a single, unified platform—no matter where your business operates.

## For Merchants: How to Get Started

### Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Visit [https://staging.mobipurse.com/](https://staging.mobipurse.com/)
2. Click on **Sign Up** or **Create Account**
3. Fill in your business information:
   * Business name
   * Email address
4. Create a secure password

### Step 2: Enable Merchant Activity

Once your account is created, you'll need to activate merchant functionality:

1. Send an email to **[support@mobipurse.com](mailto:support@mobipurse.com)** with the following information:
   * Your registered email address
   * Business name
   * Brief description of your business
   * Subject line: "Merchant Account Activation Request"
2. Our team will review your request and activate merchant features on your account
3. You'll receive a confirmation email once your merchant account is approved (typically within 1-2 business days)

### Step 3: Access Your Merchant Dashboard

After activation, log in to your account to access your merchant dashboard where you can:

* Accept payments from customers
* Debit customer wallets
* View transaction history
* Track payment status
* Generate reports
* Manage your account settings

### Step 4: Start Accepting Payments

Once your merchant account is active, you're ready to start accepting payments:

1. Navigate to your merchant dashboard
2. Generate your api-keys
3. Create Checkout Links and Redirect Your users to them
4. Monitor transactions in real-time
